Working for the Housing Ombudsman comes with a wide range of benefits including commitment to career development.
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a larger Finance team, you will ensure accurate and timely records of all Housing Ombudsman Scheme membership organisations through working closely with Landlords and colleagues across the Housing Ombudsman, to ensure all membership information is up to date and reconciles to unit numbers to support the billing process.
Specific duties include:
- Providing consistently high-quality customer service to members and prospective members being primary point for membership enquiries
- Investigating new applicants to be members of our Scheme, conducting internet research where required to confirm and record details
- Liaising with existing landlords with queries about their membership
- Updating date management systems and ensuring payments up to date
- Providing regular statistical analysis and completing membership related project work
If you have experience in a comparable role administering a large membership scheme and database along with experience of maintaining records and developing systems of membership / financial data, including reconciliation and data cleansing skills combined with being a team player who is highly organised, comfortable working with numbers and producing reports, we want to hear from you.
