Business Analyst (x 2)

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to play a pivotal role analysing business processes, identifying business needs, and proposing solutions to help our organisation achieve its goals.

Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will work alongside PMO Leads, Data Analysts and IT colleagues to manage a directorate’s/service’s requirements through the discovery phase from initial analysis, requirements definition, options appraisals and pilot/user acceptance testing through to approval of the selected solution. You will also support the evaluation of delivered solutions/initiatives through benefits realisation analysis.

For these newly created roles, you’ll possess significant experience as a Business Analyst (or in a related role), within a portfolio, programme or project team environment where your experience will include managing change to process and methodology. Your track record will evidence your experience of using appropriate tools, methods and techniques for information capture and information modelling to document structure, relationships, process and information flows.

Your communication and influencing skills will be key, both to advise and guide senior stakeholders, as well as to effectively gather, document, and analyse business requirements from end users, in addition to gaining buy-in regarding delivery of recommendations to the business.

In addition to the salary offered, we also offer a range of other benefits including a commitment to a healthy work / life balance, including a 35-hour working week.

For further details, please click ‘apply’ and download the information pack. We hope you choose to contribute your skills to the evolution of our ambitious, influential and rapidly expanding organisation. When applying, within your supporting statement, please refer to the essential criteria in the person specification and evidence how you meet it.

REVISED CLOSING DATE: 12.00 noon Saturday 26 October 2024.

PLEASE NOTE: Following unprecedented interest in our vacancies, we reserve the right to bring forward the closing date (close it early). The role will be closed to new applications immediately if / when we receive 180 applications or at the stated closing date – whichever occurs first. Applications after the role has closed cannot be accepted. We therefore strongly recommend applying as soon as possible.

We are committed to providing equality of opportunity. We have an environment that is inclusive and recognises the value of difference in the workplace.
